  We had a great time staying in the Chantry with our extended family! The property has lots of character, with some modern touches , notably the bathrooms. As mentioned by... read more other reviewers, the kitchen is compact for the house size , but there is a good sized dining room so eating in was not an issue.
Communication with host was excellent and we appreciated the new travel
cot put in before our arrival! We also had no problems finding free parking for 2 cars. Would recommend this property, particularly if you value location.

  The Chantry is a splendid family holiday house, perfectly located off a quiet street only a short distance from The Quay, shops, cafes, pubs and other facilities in Wells-next-the-Sea. ... read more There are good sized dining and sitting rooms but we found the kitchen very cramped to cater for six adults and young children. The patio garden is small but pleasant, with adequate seating. The bedrooms are very good and there are excellent bath and shower options. The house has a pleasant and comfortable feel, but could benefit from a little TLC here and there. We would have no hesitation however, in recommending The Chantry for a stay in Norfolk.

We had a lovely long weekend for a family wedding and the entire stay was seamless. When I had queries regarding check in/check out times Lindy was very prompt in getting back to us.
